KELSEYVILLE ADOPT-A-FAMILY PROGRAM will provide a Christmas that needy families would not be able to provide for themselves. The program is offered through the Kelseyville chapter of Beta Sigma Phi, a nonprofit organization. Last year, eight families were helped with toys and clothes for the children, a holiday dinner, a Christmas tree and ornaments.

NORTHLAKE ADULT DAY CENTER offer a rest to the caregiver of those with Alzheimer's disease for a few hours per week. The center receives very little state or federal funds, but will turn away no one who needs help.

"Adopted" 12 families and 59 foster children through Lake County Social Services Department. Families re-ceive $100 food vouchers, children receive items on their wish lists. Participating hospital employees and medical staff raise funds through donations and with bake sales, gift wrapping for Wal-Mart, will wrap gifts at a party.
